12 years ago, Marcus, a German volunteer, spent one year in Bolivia and worked at an orphanage. In those days, he made many friends. Now he returns to search for those kids that he has not heard of in years.
In their conversations with the German, René, David, Alejo and others talk about their everyday life in Bolivia as well as their time at the orphanage, and explain why the latter formed such a crucial experience. They reveal the reasons behind its closure and how they fared after they had left. René explains why he doesn't want to find his parents, David talks about his work as a miner and Alejo tells why he finally gave up on his plans to get involved in the drug business.
